Mahopac Middle School (NY) sixth grade students make cards and maps to send for Somali students in Kebribeyah refugee camp. After learning about Project Gaia, they were inspired to launch a school-wide fundraiser to buy stoves for refugee families. Students are passionate about helping the environment and improving the lives of others around the world. The simple actions often leave the most lasting impacts.
Do you have something to offer?
Fundraising
It’s natural for people to read about Project Gaia’s mission and want to help, and Project Gaia welcomes you! Its thanks to the time and energy people of all ages have spent spreading the word that weve been able to send stoves to needy families in refugee camps.
We are stunned by the creative ways people have reached out and made a difference:
• organizing benefit concerts and donating proceeds to Project Gaia
• donating stoves for families as a wedding gift
• sending cards and maps to children in refugee camps
